I have a tendency to push things off throughout my day that would otherwise make me happy. Writing more on my blog, taking photos, running, (yes I love to run) listening to new music. I feel like I don’t have time. I know not taking some “me time” and just consistently spending time with tasks aka housework + errands + rushing here and there etc. it starts to feel like Groundhog Day. Doing things that make you happy is what gives your life purpose. Seriously no household task actually brings joy, but unfortunately someone has to do it. ♀️
Living in today’s fast paced society we can easily caught up in the crazy, the now, the go go go.
I think balance is key to living a healthy and happy lifestyle. Mamas y’all know it’s extra hard with kids and most days it’s not about me at all. A little thing called: motherhood. I know not about me anymore at all but I think taking some time (even 30 minutes) to do something that makes me happy & spark joy I’ll be better as a whole.
Finding a happy medium between getting all that needs to get done and doing more of what makes me happy is where I’m at.
